Hey, remember when Jimmy Kimmel gave away a brand new Kawasaki Ultra 310LX JetSki at the Oscars earlier this year? No? Well, we covered it on The Watercraft Journal – not once, but twice. Either way, it was a pretty big deal for Kawasaki and while the Hollywood elitists guffawed and snorted at the idea of riding a supercharged Ultra around Havasu, many of us didn’t. That’s right, because a 2018 Kawasaki Ultra 310LX JetSki is still the most powerful jet ski ever made.
Kimmel asked that Oscar winners keep their speeches as brief as possible, and he with the shortest speech would win the ski. That night, costume designer Mark Bridges won for the shortest acceptance speech of the night and won the Ultra 310LX, but rather than attaching a trailer hitch to his Nissan Leaf, Bridges gave up the Kawasaki to be raffled off to those who donate to the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF). The MPTF “provides much needed support and services to both current and retired members of the entertainment industry. From financial assistance and counseling, to home safety help and finding the right health insurance, MPTF provides the entertainment community with a wide range of programs and services available to all ages.”
In addition to winning the 2018 Kawasaki Ultra 310LX JetSki, you’ll also be flown to Los Angeles, put up in the opulent and notably haunted Beverly Hills Hotel and get two tickets to see the insufferable blowhard in person during a filming of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and even sit in the super exclusive greenroom. There’s no word if the free hotel stay in Lake Havasu City, AZ is still available or part of the prize. So yeah, enter here and pony up some dough to help starving actors and win a new JetSki.
Even if Jimmy Kimmel is an “insufferable blowhard,” he is very funny.
