Nothing can interfere with enjoying the most out of your ride finishing strong in your moto than not being able to see. Goggle fogging is caused when heat from your skin and/or breath contacts the cold lens. The fastest way to thwart fogging is to use a lens that is either treated to maintain temperature in various weather conditions, or purchase a goggle that has excellent ventilation.
Of course, there is one more way: treating your lenses with a chemical that regulates surface temperature – the same way your mom taught you to spit into your swim mask as a kid. Of course, saliva isn’t exactly sanitary and is a little less than ideal for maximum visibility. This has prompted the good folks at Jet Renu to partner with team member Jake Zier.
Together, Zier and Jet Renu have been working to redevelop their “Clear” glass cleaner formula to include Anti-Fog properties. This new formula will not only provide excellent cleaning and streak-free visibility, but will also maintain a clear transparency free from fogging! The new formula isn’t ready yet, but will be available in time for World Finals.
