When it comes to personal watercraft, they’re powerful, nimble, and just plain fun to ride. We can generally assume that anyone who is a fan of getting wet and wild on a Sea-Doo, would also enjoy getting equally rowdy on a Can-Am side by side. At the Loveday 4×4 Adventure Park in Australia, this Can-Am Maverick X3 and early model Sea-Doo RXP-X battle it out.
Both machines are equally capable in their own environments. The Sea-Doo with its supercharged engine can definitely carve around the obstacles and down the straight paths.
The Can-Am and its 900cc turbocharged Rotax Ace motor can obviously carve its own corners as well. It can even dive a little bit into the Sea-Doo’s territory as we see the two cross opposing paths avoiding collision by only a fraction of a second.
While on that stunt it appears that the Can-Am driver got the large stick out of the draw having and roll cage enclosure and other safety restraints, it does appear that the stunt was carefully timed and coordinated.
It’s definitely not hard to see why anybody would have a fun-filled day playing on both of these machines.
