Krash Industries Team Riders Euro Tour in Nazare

Recently, Krash Industries’ Australian riders, Ryan Savage and Joel Barry hit Round 3 of the International Freeride Watercraft Association’s European Championship Final Nazare, Portugal. The Nazare event was the last event of the Euro leg of the tour and the much anticipated large swell didn’t show up so the competitors made the best of the the flat to small wave conditions. Unfortunately, Barry was stopped at the quarterfinals even though he pulled a huge Barrel Roll in the tricky conditions.

Though neither Barry or Savage made a podium finish, they’re stoked about returning Nazare next year with 50 Cals in order to “slay the European Beaches!” Here is a quote with some details about the 50 Cals; straight from the Krash Industries website: “The Krash Industries 50 Cal is available in two models, for riders who predominantly ride surf then you will want the 50 Cal surf which includes reverse angle sponsons and a 4th chime which adds greater stability as you carve the face of the wave. On the other hand if flat water freestyle is your thing, then you will chose the 50 Cal 148 Flatwater freestyle model. The 50 Cal Flatwater has a specifically designed beam, draft and rocker that enables the rider to flip and role effortlessly in all water conditions. Both 50 Cal models come in 4 color options.”

We can understand why the Aussie pilots would want to take a couple of 50 Cals to Europe. They are diverse machines that would bode well no matter the conditions. Regardless of where Barry and Savage finished, they made Australia and Krash Industries proud according to the many comments on the Krash Industries Facebook Page.
