Roxen Takes Production Watercraft on European Dealer Tour Before Returning to Cannes

When we last checked in with Roxen Innovations in May, the Swedish electric watercraft manufacturer was working its way through the European certification process for its ROXEN electric watercraft. Since then, the company has continued moving forward, with production underway and the watercraft now being put through extensive real-world testing with dealers across Europe.

In early July, the Roxen team embarked on a European tour that took the production watercraft through Sweden, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Italy and France. According to the company, the tour included more than 100 test runs in a variety of waters and environments, reportedly covering more than 3,700 miles of travel.

The goal was to put Roxen in the hands of dealers and allow them to experience the watercraft firsthand in different conditions. While the company didn’t provide specific performance data or individual dealer feedback, Roxen said the response throughout the tour made the extensive travel worthwhile.

The European tour represents a notable change in the company’s position compared with our May update. Roxen has moved beyond the development and certification-focused stage and is now actively demonstrating production watercraft to potential dealers across the continent.

Next Stop, Cannes

The next stop on Roxen’s European schedule is the Cannes Yachting Festival, where the company says ROXEN has again been named to the festival’s Innovation Route.

The Innovation Route highlights technologies focused on the future of yachting, including electric and hybrid propulsion, sustainable materials, solar integration and smart onboard systems. The route spans both of the festival’s ports and gives selected exhibitors additional visibility throughout the event.

Roxen was also part of the Innovation Route at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, making its return this year another useful marker of the company’s progress.

The company will arrive in Cannes following a summer of European dealer testing rather than simply presenting a developing concept. That’s a meaningful difference from where Roxen stood when we first began following the project.

With production underway, certification work progressing and the company now taking its watercraft directly to dealers across Europe, the next stage of Roxen’s development is becoming increasingly focused on getting the ROXEN into the hands of customers.

We’ll continue following that progress as the company heads to Cannes and beyond.
